Dr. Katz received her B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and her Ph.D. in School Psychology from Temple University. She is a licensed educational psychologist, a nationally certified school psychologist, and has over a decade of experience working in public schools with students from infancy through young adulthood. Her clinical background allows her to provide education on child development, cognition and learning styles. She can help you better understand your child, their stage of development, and their unique needs and preferences through her clinical and coaching services.
Dr. Katz’s work is informed by her training in developmental psychology, special education, neuroscience, cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive learning theories. Dr. Katz’s training enables her to translate all types of behavior and her experience as a mother helps her empathize with your struggles and work to create simple, effective, and practical strategies to empower you to create a successful, happy educational path for your child.
